'As The Deer' is a song that we would sing at bible meetings and church and so when I was experimenting with the Hedges tunings, I stumbled across this song by accident. I used the high strings for melody and the rest for chord and color. 'Colors Of Autumn' was a realization from the accident that I previously created. Mykul's bass really added the depth to the sound. 'OCome Emmanuel' is done with two bass guitars, one playing a groove line and the other the melody with regular guitar later for a wide effect. 'I Will Not Forget You' started out as trying to figure out 'Classical Gas' but then it became it's own song. I still put in a few 'Gas' licks though. 'When I Look To You' is both an alternate tuning and slide creation. I stumbled upon the open D tuning and found out that if I lower the high string a little, it would have a totally different feel. Also the little birdies in the background was perfect to close out the demo.
